Lead –Upholstery Finishing 

The lead position is someone who assists the supervisor or manager, and is responsible for a team or group of employees. A lead will be the go-between for employees and management for solving problems or even for addressing general questions.  Answers questions for department employees to ensure they understand company standards.  Keeps up with inventory supplies and reorders when necessary.  Serves as back-up for daily attendance reports.  Works the off-schedule report and rush orders to ensure product continues to move.  Provides support in moving off schedule through the plant.  Assists with training of employees.  Works as liaison between manufacturing and customer service.   Oversees department in supervisor’s absence.  May perform administrative duties as determined by coach.  Maintains neat and orderly work station and 6/s in department.  Knowledgeable in every aspect of the departments work processes for scheduling and providing training to others.  Must be knowledgeable in furniture manufacturing/Finishing with ability to train new employees as directed by coach.

Legacy Operator (Programmer)

 ***2nd Shift***Responsible for programming & operating 5 axis Legacy woodworking machine, knowledge of Solidworks, Autocad, or similar programming experience helpful.  3D CAD experience pr drawing/programming knowledge preferred.

Maintenance Utility

***2nd Shift***  Performs various tasks related to Lean/6S, Safety and Maintenance. Paint, maintain flooring, dust, perform simple PM’s, landscaping, pressure wash and a variety of other maintenance related tasks. 

Administrative Assistant to the Safety & Environmental Manager:  Part-time/15-20 hours a week/flexible schedule within 7AM-4PM timeframe.

Enter safety incentive results for managers (huddle talks, safety inspections, and behavior based safety observations) into tally sheet.  Enter Safety Data Sheets (SDS) into Fortis records retention system.  Assist with updating bulletin boards with communication pieces as needed.  Assist with 6S painting, markings.  Ensure labeling of all electrical panels and update all outdated / invisible panel markers – Huge project which will involve at times a maintenance technician.  Deliver safety supplies to departments as requested.  Add all individual training documents to Paycom information system.  Enter Near Miss emails into tracking log and help to ensure corrected. English required. Excellent verbal and written skills required.  Familiar with office equipment. (Label machine, laminating, barcode creation, etc.)  Must have high attention to detail and be organized.  Solid computer skills required. Microsoft Office suite experience. 

Cushion Filler:

Fills cushion cover with cushion fill and regulates to quality standards.

Sanders:

Sand whitewood frame to erase all roughness to prepare for finishing process.

Upholstery Trainer:

5 + years of high end upholstery experience.  Must be team oriented and have excellent attendance, quality, and work record.  Must posses willingness to learn and a high level of cooperation.

Training Line:

Now taking applications training for upholsterers, trimmers and upholstery sewers.

Maintenance Operator:

Perform routine or extensive work in the repair and general maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment. Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.

Pattern Maker-Product Development

Product development experience required.  Prefer 5 years pattern making experience for full flow pattern matching.  Frame deign experience preferred.

Upholsterer

Must have at least 3 years experience upholstering high end furniture. Looking for someone who is detail oriented and quality minded. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Starting pay does depend on experience. Excellent benefits package.

Trimmer

Must have at least 3 years experience with trimming for high end furniture. Looking for someone who is quality minded and can work in a fast paced environment. Starting pay does depend on experience. Excellent benefits package.  

Sewers-Repair Sewer, Cushion Sewer, Topstitch.

Successful candidate will possess at least 3 years experience with sewing with upholstery furniture. Must be quality minded. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Starting pay depends on experience. Excellent benefits package.

 Machine Room Operators

Well-rounded machine experience including but not limited to:  cut off, drill press, lathe, shaper, router, sander, planer, boring, wood nailer, sawyer, rip saw, knot saw (except CNC Operators).

Full Finisher/Spray Operator

Must have experience in staining and paint spraying.

MINI SHIFTS:

Machine Room Mini-Shift:  hours flexible Monday-Friday 3 PM-8 PM, 4 PM-9 PM, 5 PM-10 PM.  Positions needed are:

Machine Room Specialist (Set-Up experience required):  Band saw, Carolina Boring, Drill Press, Mitre Saw, Rip Saw, Hand Shaper.

Machine Operator (Woodworking experience required): Band saw, Carolina Boring, Drill Press, Mitre Saw, Rip Saw, Hand Shaper.

Upholstery Mini-Shift:  Hours flexible Monday-Friday 4 PM-8 PM and Saturday 6:30 AM-2:30 PM.  Positions needed are:

Upholsterers: Must have at least 3 years experience upholstering high end furniture. Looking for someone who is detail oriented and quality minded. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Starting pay does depend on experience.

Trimmers:  Must have at least 3 years experience with trimming for high end furniture. Looking for someone who is quality minded and can work in a fast paced environment. Starting pay does depend on experience.

Must have 3-5 years experience with 8 way tie. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Starting pay depends on experience. Excellent benefits package.
